摘要
The possibilities of applying modern achievements in the field of contact mechanics and tribophysics to improve the operation efficiency of the electrical contacts have been considered. The formation of the real contact area and its correlation with electrical conductivity has been analyzed. The methods of increasing the working capacity of electrical contacts, including the structural (the change of contact geometry and surfaces topography) and materials technological (development of contact materials and lubricants) aspects have been considered.
