Three new species ofMalouetia (Apocynaceae) are described and illustrated:M. amazonica andM. pumila from Brazil andM. gentryi from Peru.Malouetia amazonica grows in inundated igapó forest, whereas the other two are found in non-inundated habitats:M. pumila incampa fechada, andM. gentryi in upland forest.
