摘要
The self-diffusion coefficient and viscosity of metals, Group IVA and VA elements, oxygen, neon, and argon at the melting point were expressed through the basic properties of the elements (atomic weight; density; melting temperature; and atomic, covalent, or ionic radius). The temperature dependence of the self-diffusion coefficient was established for melts. Possible mechanisms of diffusion in the liquid phase were discussed.
