The influence of skew loads that arise in the motion of heavy-duty gantry cranes on the stress-strain state of the metal framework is analyzed. The limiting skew of the support is determined. On that basis, recommendations are made regarding the adjustment of the skew limiters. © 2010 Allerton Press, Inc.
