摘要：

Shortcomings of the zero creep compensation used in measuring surface tension σT of metals in the solid state are analyzed, especially its low sensitivity in measuring the temperature coefficient. A device for directly measuring σT with a high degree of accuracy and without the flaws of zero creep compensation is proposed. © 2018, Allerton Press, Inc.
