A design is proposed for a gate valve intended for operation in aggressive media. All elements of the gate valves are fabricated from materials resistant to an aggressive working media, and are connected by welding, making it possible to enhance the in-service reliability of the gate valve. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York.
