摘要
Abstract—: It is proposed to apply a thin-layer polyamide coating to the surface of one of the mating parts to eliminate fretting corrosion in fixed metal joints. It is recommended to add finely dispersed iron minium powder to the polymer to increase the reliability of the joint by increasing the coefficient of friction in the steel–polyamide pair. This ensures the frictional interaction in the mating surfaces is the same as in a steel–steel pair. The results of studies at different pressures and temperatures are presented. © Allerton Press, Inc. 2024. ISSN 1068-798X, Russian Engineering Research, 2024, Vol. 44, No. 2, pp. 233–236.
