摘要
Pore-free cordierite glass-ceramic was synthesized. The crystallization and sintering processes were studied. Certain properties of the cordierite glass-ceramic fabricated from magnesium-aluminum-silicate glass were determined. The best properties were exhibited by glass-ceramic material obtained with heat-treatment at first-stage temperature T1 = 850°C and soaking time 𝜏1 = 3 h and second-stage temperature in the range T2 = 115 – 1350°C and soaking time 𝜏2 = 1 – 5 h.
