The aim of the present paper is to analyze the heat and mass transfer effects on unsteady magnetohydrodynamic flow over an inclined porous plate embedded in a porous medium with Soret and Dufour effects and chemical reaction. The dimensionless momentum equation coupled with the energy and mass diffusion equations are numerically solved by finite element method. The effects of the various dimensionless parameters entering into the problem on the velocity, temperature and concentration profiles across the boundary layer are investigated through graphs. Also the results of the skin-friction, Nusselt number and Sherwood number are prepared with various values of the parameters in the tables. Comparison with previously published work on special case of the problem were performed and found to be in very good agreement. © 2016, Springer India Pvt. Ltd.
