摘要
In this study, β-cyclodextrin nanosponges were synthesized using organic carbonates, namely gelatinous β-cyclodextrin nanosponges (NJ) and vitreous β-cyclodextrin nanosponges (BL). The ‘constructed’ porous structures were characterized by scanning electron microscopy. NJ and BL with different cavity structures as heterogeneous nucleation agents were selected for the polypropylene and polylactic acid foaming injection moulding processes. The obtained experimental results showed that NJ significantly reduced nucleation energy barrier and thus exhibited the highest nucleation efficacy. The nucleation mechanism was explored via a combination of the classical nucleation theory and in situ visual injection moulding analysis. In a word, the current work provided an insight into the structure-nucleating efficiency relationship for porous particles and highlighted the importance of the construction of porous structures in the organic nucleating agents to improve the polymeric foaming performances.
