A digital phase shifter with linear phase-shift variations with a π/N step, where N is the overall division factor of used frequency dividers, is described. The device is easy to realize and intended to easily set and change a phase-shift step, carrying out the reverse (manual and automatic) phase change with a preset rate. The device is good for use in phase and ultrasonic measurement techniques.
