Model of a vacuum microtriode with a field emission cathode based on the graphitized surface of silicon carbide

摘要
A model of a microtriode with an emitting surface in the form of a flat line of a graphitized silicon-carbide surface is proposed. The electric-field-strength distribution in the microtriode interelectrode space is determined using the conformal transformation method. The optimum geometrical parameters of the microtriode corresponding to high field-emission currents and device controllability are determined. The current-voltage characteristics are constructed and the device parameters are calculated. The stability of the device’s elements is estimated.
