摘要
The solvent effects during RPLC column characterization was evalauted. A test derived from that of Tanaka was performed using both methanol and acetonitrile as organic modifier. Neutral and basic solutes were used to assess the solvent impact on the chromatographic properties of stationary phases. A cross-interaction was often observed between the column and the solvent which means that both the choice of column and solvent must be taken into account during characetrization.
