摘要
The present study consists of an essay about the 3rd generation bioethanol production from microalgae. The strain of microalgae used in this research has been isolated from slaughterhouse wastewater. The study starts by applying five methods (thermic shock, grinding, acid treatment, basic treatment, and enzyme hydrolysis) to disrupt cell wall. The maximum total sugar content has been obtained after enzymatic hydrolysis with a yield of 82.2 % relative to dry matter. The fermentation was applied on the recovered supernatant after pH setting (7 ± 0.1) in presence of the yeast Saccharomyces cereviseae. The maximum of ethanol production was obtained with basic, enzymatic and acid treatments with a yield of 43, 40 and 38 % respectively. These results demonstrate the importance of the microalgae strain used as an attractive feedstock for third generation bioethanol.
