摘要
Electrochemical measurements to investigate steel corrosion in sands cell with pore water for this simulation study on embedded-in-concrete steel in seawater showed that the steel corrosion was controlled by oxygen reduction; that water content and sand granularity could affect the corrosion behavior greatly; that with increasing sands cell water content from dry condition, the corrosion rate first increased, and then decreased, maximizing at about 6 g per 50 g sand. The probable mechanism is discussed.
