摘要
The discovery of a vermiform appendix in an inguinal hernia sac is not uncommon, occurring in 1% of inguinal hernia repairs. However, the discovery of an acutely inflamed appendix within any hernia sac occurs in only 0.13% of cases. This rare finding is known as Amyand's hernia. We present a case of Amyand's hernia which was diagnosed preoperatively by CT scan and was reduced laparoscopically.
