摘要
Objective: To study the clinical efficacy of acupuncture plus ear-points pressure for insomnia. Method: All 156 cases were randomized into the observation, acupuncture and Chinese herbal formula groups. Combined acupuncture and ear-points pressure, acupuncture alone and Chinese herbal formula were applied in each group respectively. Result: The total effective rates of the observation, acupuncture and herbal group were 94. 2%, 75. 0% and 78. 8% respectively. This has indicated that combined acupuncture and Auricular Point Sticking could obtain significantly better effect than the acupuncture group (P<0. 01) and the herbal group (P<0. 05). Conclusion: Combined acupuncture and ear-point pressure can obtain a better effect for treatment of insomnia. © 2010 Shanghai Research Institute of Acupuncture and Meridian and Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
