Greater attention could be given to participation in informal (general) CPD.Large numbers of GDPs may need to do more CPD to meet the requirements of the GDC's Lifelong Learning Scheme.Targeted support for specific groups of GDPs may be needed.The GDC's Lifelong Learning Scheme, and the requirement to undertake clinical audit or peer review will put pressure on providers of CPD.
