摘要
A new method for determining the temperature dependence of the thermal conductivity coefficient of dielectrics is proposed. The method is applicable in a wide temperature range and provides correct accounting for the heat losses from the sample due to infrared radiation. The elaborated procedure of processing the experimental data can be used up to the melting temperature of the sample, which considerably expands the working temperature range of the measurements of the thermal conductivity coefficient. The method was checked on a uranium dioxide sample in the temperature range from 477 to 1842 K. The temperature dependence of the thermal conductivity of UO2 agrees well with the analytical power function obtained within the Debye approximation. © Pleiades Publishing, Ltd., 2010.
