摘要
This article reports the case of a 23-year-old professional floorball goalkeeper who complained of worsening left-sided hip and groin pain. Conventional x‑ray and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) with cam deformity and a large os acetabuli covering 13% of the joint surface. The patient underwent arthroscopic joint preservation surgery with osteochondroplasty of the femoral neck. The rim fragment was arthroscopically debrided and fixed. The patient could resume competitive physical activity without restrictions 6 months postoperatively. The os acetabuli showed clear signs of consolidation in the follow-up x‑ray. © 2018, Springer Medizin Verlag GmbH, ein Teil von Springer Nature.
