In this paper we prove the existence of a compact attractor in L ∞(Ω) for a degenerate nonlinear diffusion problem with nonlinear flux on the boundary. In order to formulate the equation as a dynamical system, some existence and uniqueness results for weak solutions are proved. © 1998 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
