Symmetry character of positive-parity bands in neutron-rich even palladium isotopes

The new data provided by recent experiments on 118Pd, a nucleus not previously investigated, and on the high-spin states of the yrast band in even \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$^{110\mbox{--}116}$\end{document}Pd isotopes have been analyzed in the framework of the IBA-2 model, extending a former study. A correct description of the properties of 118Pd has been obtained by using model parameters equal or very close to those of the neighbouring isotopes. The importance of mixed-symmetry components for a satisfactory description of the states of \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$J \geq 10$\end{document} in \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$^{110\mbox{--}118}$\end{document}Pd is pointed out.
