The concept of domination can be applied to different areas such as communication networks, power grids, traffic management systems, data summarization, land surveying problems etc. On the same account, fuzzy graph theory is one of the vigourous researched area in mathematics due to its applicability, flexibility and precision for solving many simple as well as complicated real life problems. In this paper, the concept of Total Perfect Domination and Total Efficient Domination in intuitionistic fuzzy graphs are introduced. An upper bound and lower bound for the Total Efficient Domination in an intuitionistic fuzzy graph are discussed in accordance to maximum strong arc neighborhood degree. A new relationship is developed between Total Efficient Domatic number and Total Efficient Domination Number. Some results on Total Efficient Domination of trees are discussed. As an application, the concepts of Perfect Domination is used in fixing railway stations in railway department and Total Perfect Domination is used in solving the problem of opening bakery outlets in different areas of a city. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature India Private Limited.
