摘要
This paper presents a review of scientific publications addressing studies of the problem of functional neurological disorders (dissociative (conversion) disorders, F44). The authors present a change in views on the etiology and main mechanisms of the pathogenesis of this pathology during the period during which it has been studied. Current concepts of types of cerebral dysfunction typical of functional neurological disorders are considered. A description of the most typical mental and somatic symptoms seen in dissociative disorders and the features of their clinical manifestations are given. Current approaches to the treatment of functional neurological disorders are addressed. © 2021, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.
