The production of competitive high-quality pipe from continuous-cast pipe blanks without additional operations has been a goal for many years. That has been attained by means of technology and equipment permitting the effective conversion of various pipe-rolling systems for the use of continuous-cast circular blanks. © 2011 Allerton Press, Inc.
