A crystal structure of the RNA aptamer Mango bound to a thiazole orange–derived fluorophore reveals a three-tiered G-quadruplex structure, which, together with three flap-like nucleotides, constrains the fluorophore into its active conformation.[graphic not available: see fulltext]
