A new species of Orphanodendron (Leguminosae, Papilionoideae), Orphanodendron grandiflorum, is described and illustrated. The new species was discovered in the municipality of Bolívar, department of Santander, in the Eastern Cordillera of Colombia, and constitutes the second described species of the genus Orphanodendron.
