We report on experimental observations of the deformations of a free surface of superfluid 4He\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$^{4}\hbox {He}$$\end{document} in the presence of the corona discharge above the liquid. The effect is attributed to the impact of the ion wind generated by the discharge.
