A model of an unsteady ultrafiltration process in a membrane apparatus is described, which has the form of a typical second-order oscillating circuit. It is found that the effect from using the pulsation method for enhancing the membrane apparatus depends on its dynamic properties. © 2010 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
