While much has been written about clinical supervision in other fields of counselling, little has been written in the area of career counselling. However as career counsellors are confronted with the challenges of a constantly changing world of work, their support and learning needs are increasing. This article discusses the role of clinical supervision as a mechanism for facilitating the support and lifelong learning of career counsellors moving into the learning culture of the 21st Century. © 2000 Kluwer Academic Publishers.
