Abstract: The analysis of technology for the production of hot-rolled strip steel in coils has shown that the technological instructions for this metallurgical processing stage finishes at the stage of winding a finished hot strip into a coil. The development and implementation for technology to control the cooling of hot-rolled strip coils in accordance with the grade-and-size assortment, as well as with customer’s requirements, are necessary. © 2020, Allerton Press, Inc.
