摘要：

A new mineralomimetic cadmium cyanide benzene clathrate Cd(CN)2-C6H6 (1) has been obtained. The new mineralomimetic cadmium cyanide host Cd(CN)2 framework belongs to cristobalitelike structures. The new clathrate1 crystallized in the trigonal space group R3m (No. 166), a= 8.953(4), c-21.929(6) å. The structure of1 is slightly different from that of the reported cyclohexane clathrate Cd(CN)2-C6H12 with space group Fd3m, which is similar to H-cristobalite.
