A method of measuring the power characteristics of UHF and VHF antennas, which satisfies the free-space conditions as a result of the mutual arrangement of the measuring antenna and the antenna being investigated, is proposed. An experimental estimate of the practicality of the proposed method under test conditions using a radio-measuring screened system is presented.
