Abstract: The response of a palladium–lead system to hydrogen exposure is determined via precision X-ray diffraction using synchrotron radiation. The kinetics of the hydrogenated system’s deformation is studied as it relaxes at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. Hydrogenation is performed at 300°C and a pressure of 16 atm. © 2022, Allerton Press, Inc.
