摘要
We present a model for a prototype axial flux permanent magnet synchronous machine (AFPM) employing cogging torque reduction using 3D FEA method for open slot type. The performance of the AFPM is tested in real time. The experimental results reveal that torque ripples have been reduced by 74.9 %.
