Algorithms for the approximate calculation of the characteristics of wireless telecommunications with a microcellular structure where new and handover calls form queues with limited length have been developed. It is supposed that calls of both types can leave the queues unserved if their waiting time exceeds some threshold values. The results of numerical calculations are presented. © 2010 Allerton Press, Inc.
