摘要
Tunnel fire has been increasingly concerned because it usually leads to catastrophic consequences. The longitudinal temperature profile is an important consideration in case of the tunnel fire, which is related to the response of the fire detections. This paper experimentally investigated the effect of the longitudinal ventilation on the ceiling temperature decay, including the location of the maximum temperature, which is conducted in a reduced-scale ventilated tunnel. The effective tunnel height, fire heat release rates and longitudinal ventilation speeds are taken into consideration. A modified correlation is developed by introducing the radius B for predicting the ceiling temperature rise decay in the ventilated tunnel fire.
