摘要
We previously reported that human dermal stem/progenitor cell-derived conditioned medium (hDSPC-CM) mediates skin regeneration effects, such as wound healing and reducing the number of UVA-irradiated apoptotic cell population. Here we demonstrate the effects of hDSPC-CM on the hair re-growth. hDSPC-CM was used for study regarding the activation of alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity and the up-regulation of mRNA expression for dermal papilla cell markers, such as SOX2, S100ß, VCAN, and CORIN. And the secretion of Wnt3a protein from hDSPC-CM was significantly increased compared to non hDSPC-CM. Wnt3a protein can restore ALP activity significantly. Furthermore we investigated the effect of hDSPC-CM on hair regeneration of C57BL/6 mice by considering the relationship between Wnt/ß-catenin pathway and hair formation. Taken together, these data suggest that hDSPC-CM can exert some beneficial effects on hair regeneration and may be used as a therapeutic agent for curing hair loss.
