摘要
An improved criterion for use in predicting the growth of nonthrough fatigue cracks as a function of the degree of the stress state of structural elements is proposed. The stress state of samples made of steel 20 and of the aluminum alloy AK6 is investigated. It is established that biaxial loading influences the rate of growth of a fatigue crack and its relationship to the coefficient of triaxiality of the stress state, which may be calculated in a neighborhood of the apex of the crack. © 2017, Springer Science+Business Media New York.
