摘要
Membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis type I is rarely found as a primary idiopathic disease. More frequently it occurs in associa-tion with various underlying diseases, includ-ing autoimmune disorders such as systemic lupus erythematosus, cryoglobulinemia, chronic infections, and malignancies. Para-neoplastic glomerulopathy can be seen asso-ciated with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia in particular. We present a case of secondary membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis and non Hodgkin's lymphoma of B cell type and show how treatment for the underlying disease - in this patient a single course of rituximab/bendamustin - led to complete recovery from renal manifestations of the lymphoma but also nearly complete recovery from the secondary glomerulonephritis.
