摘要：

The inguinal region is a predilection site for postoperative, especially lymphatic complications after vascular surgery. In addition to harmless and spontaneously resorbing lymphoceles, high-volume, treatment-resistant lymphatic fistulas can occur, which harbor the risk of potentially limb-threatening secondary complications. The diagnostics and differential diagnostic delimitation of this special surgical complication as well as conservative, interventional and surgical treatment options are part of the obligatory treatment repertoire of the vascular surgeon due to the regularly and ubiquitously used inguinal access in vascular medicine. The present article provides an overview of different postoperative lymphatic complications in the inguinal region, the diagnostic options and step-by-step instructions for selected treatment options.
