This article makes the first attempt to systematize data on the radiographic-sensitometric and structural indices of Russian and foreign-made industrial radiographic films, the surface concentration of metallic silver in such films, and the thickness of their emulsion layers. Russian and imported films are grouped in classes in accordance with the recommendations in the Russian standard “Nondestructive Inspection. Radiographic Method.”
