摘要
Variations in the fractional-group humus composition in gray forest soil on the watershed plateau and northern and southern slopes of different steepness are discussed. It has been revealed that organic matter mineralization is quicker in soils on the southern slope than on the northern one. Humus quality becomes poorer with the rise in slope steepness from 1° to 3° in soil of the northern slopes and from 1° to 5° in soil of the southern slope.
