Photoacoustic responce of the loaded surface of absorbing liquid to laser pulse with modulated intensity

摘要
The experimental results on the effect of erbium laser pulses (300–400 ns long, 2.94 µm wavelength) on the water surface loaded by a transparent sapphire plate 9.6 mm thick are presented. The laser pulse intensity was modulated with a period of 8.2 ns. The behavior of the phase of the modulated part of the photoacoustic response under given experimental conditions differs significantly from the case of irradiation of a free liquid surface [1, 2].
