A new species Ipomoea pantanalensis J. R. I. Wood & C. Urbanetz is described and illustrated. It is one of a small number of species of Ipomoea endemic to the seasonally flooded wetlands of the Pantanal region. © 2016, The Board of Trustees of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
