Macrokinetics of microwave heating of ceramic materials

摘要
The problem has been stated on the macrokinetic description of microwave heating of weakly absorbing ceramic materials. The temperature dependence of the dielectric loss factor has been measured for some ceramic materials in the range of 20–600°C. The kinetics of heating model ceramic samples in a micro-wave cavity has been calculated. Experimental data on the microwave heating of an aluminum nitride sample have been obtained, which agree well with the calculation results.
