Είναι κοινά αποδεκ τό ότι το Διαδίκτυο δεν θα είναι δυνατό να προσφέρει πλήρε ις σ ηλεκτρονικής αγορ άς χωρίς ένα κατάλλ ηλο μηχανισμό ηλεκ τρονικών πληρωμών. Ο μηχανισμός αυτός π ρέπει να είναι ικαν ός ώστε να συμβάλλε ι σημαντικά στην πρ οώθησ προϊόντων, ενώ παρά λληλα θα μετρά και θ α βελτιώνει την ποι ότητα των ηλεκτρον ικών συνδιαλλαγών σε μι α τρομακτικά αναπτ υσσόμενη ηλεκτρον ική αγορά. Η εργασία αυτή αναλύει το E-Cash (ηλεκτρ ονικό χρήμα) χρησιμ οποιώντας μεθοδολ ογίες της Συστημικ ή Ανάλυσης όπου εντά σσει τη Μέτρηση και Βελτίωση των προσφ ερόμενων Υπηρεσιώ ν με πρωταρχικό παράγο ντα την εξοικονόμη ση χρόνου και χρήμα τος.
