Effect of the Temperature-Dependent Shear Viscosity on Rapidity Differential Elliptic Flow in Relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions

摘要
The specific shear viscosity that changes with temperature influences the rapidity distributions and the rapidity asymmetry of elliptic flow in ultra-relativistic nuclear collisions. We explore this effect using a transport-based approach. The different temperature-dependent parametrizations can lead to different results for the rapidity dependence of elliptic, which can provide constraints for the temperature dependence of the shear viscosity to entropy density ratio.
