This paper reports on the luminescence response and ellipsometry characteristics of the Mn trivalent ion affected by the impact of titanium in the La0.67Ba0.25Ca0.08Mn1-xTixO3 (LBCM1-xTx) (x = 0 or 0.05) sample obtained via a Molten Salt process. In fact, the Rietveld technique of the X-ray data prove a rhombohedral structure (R¯3c) at ambient temperature of the investigated compounds. The photoluminescence properties revealed that two investigated compounds give to the blue photoemissions under laser excitation 360 nm at temperature interval between 10 and 300 K. This result suggests that the luminescence source is only from Mn4+ ion. The obtained values of the activation energy and CIE reveal that the emission of the investigated compounds happens in the blue range with excellent thermo-stability. Moreover, the optical characteristics at room temperature were examined utilizing spectroscopic ellipsometry, which indicates that the refractive index and extinction factor are in perfect accordance with those variables in the literature. All these results confirm that the current samples have a significant potential application in luminescent devices.
