Abstract: This paper is devoted to the development of fire-retardant coatings based on polyvinyl chloride. The possibility of using a phosphorus–boron-containing oligomer in the composition of plastisol as a polyfunctional additive has been studied. Recipes for protective coatings are presented. Their physical and mechanical characteristics, such as fire- and heat-protection efficiency, adhesive strength to glass fabric, and oil and petrol resistance, were evaluated. In was concluded that the developed compositions can be used in the production of fire curtains. © 2022, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
